About the Foundation
Free, open-access education in world history and culture.
Our Mission
The Z & X Family Foundation provides free, open-access education in world history, culture, and the arts. Through the Z & X Digital Museum, we document cultural heritage sites and present them as curated online exhibitions that anyone can explore at no cost.
What We Do
The Z & X Family Foundation directly operates the Z & X Digital Museum as its primary charitable program. The foundation researches and photographs cultural and historical sites, such as the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu in Peru, and turns that fieldwork into curated online exhibitions with educational commentary.
Every exhibition is free to the public. The museum charges no admission or membership fees, sells nothing, and carries no commercial advertising. Students, teachers, researchers, and lifelong learners anywhere in the world can use it.
Our Commitments
- Preservation: Documenting cultural heritage sites and artifacts with high-resolution photography and video.
- Education: Publishing curated exhibitions and educational materials that are free for anyone to use.
- Access: Keeping the museum online, open, and free of charge, so that distance and cost are never barriers.
